Panic of “Me”

Interesting term huh! “Me” a panic button, how is that possible !!!

But trust me it is possible. It is possible as we ourselves are creating it. We become so concern about ourselves and starts thinking of whether other will accept, what will they think about us, if they don’t accept how will we live and so on and so forth all types of Panicking thoughts and thus the Panic button “Me” gets created.

But you know with a small change of our own thought and a small touch of love this Panic button can come to nil.

First and foremost comes the body looks

We gets so obsessed with THIS IS THE PERFECT FIGURE. And for this perfect figure people goes to each and every extend but still we can see that this “PERFECT FIGURE” not getting satisfied and there creates tension, sadness, stress and that leads to panic. Isn’t so to think what will happen if that does not happen. We stand in front of mirror and cry a lot of this dissatisfaction and simply gets frustrated with us and feel why even we are alive with such a distasteful body!!!!

Really!!! Really!!!!

Trust me each and everyone is beautiful in their own way. Instead of thinking of perfect body, let’s think about the fit and healthy body, let’s think about the strength of our body. Let’s take care of our body. Eat healthy… we should not treat our body as a trash can. Eat veggies, fruits and drink adequate water. Put all these in your daily diet.

Here are some of things you can do to eat healthy:

  • Eat country foods as often as you can.
  • Eat fresh, frozen or canned vegetables and fruits every day.
  • For energy, eat grains like oatmeal, brown bread, and unsweetened cereal
  • Make water your main drink.
  • Unhealthy drinks made with lots of sugar, like pop, energy drinks, iced tea, slush, and juice cocktails or juices made from crystals should be limited.
  • Having low fat milk, yogurt, cheese or soy milk every day will help keep bones strong.
  • Canned seafood like tuna, salmon, oysters, and clams are much healthier than canned meats like, corned beef.
  • Eggs, peanut butter and canned beans are healthy, easy to make, and cost less than other convenience foods.

A healthy and balanced diet includes food from each of the four food groups every day.

Vegetables and Fruit

We need to eat more from this group than the other groups over the course of a day. The foods in this group are healthy because:

They are high in fiber. Fiber can help with good digestion, keep cholesterol down and prevent some type of cancer .They are high in vitamins and minerals which help our bodies heal and keep our eyes and skin healthy. The other food groups do not have very much of these.
Choose vegetables and fruit prepared with little or no added fat, sugar or salt.Fresh, frozen and canned vegetables and fruit are all good options. When using canned fruit, choose those that are canned in water or juice, instead of syrup.Whole fruit should be eaten more often than 100% fruit juices.Vegetables can be added to many meals:Try adding bell peppers, corn, mushrooms or cooked potatoes to scrambled eggs .Serve celery stuffed with peanut butter as a snack.Instead of French fries, use a microwave to bake potatoes.Toss chopped vegetables with a small amount of oil and bake them in the oven.

Grain Products

Grain products are the main way we get energy.

The healthiest grains are “whole grains” like whole wheat bread, whole wheat pasta, large flake oats and brown rice.Whole grains have lots of fibre, which has many health benefits, like preventing some cancers. You can find out if a product is made with whole grain by looking at the ingredient list. Whole grain foods will have the words “whole” or “whole grain” followed by the name of the grain (like oats or wheat).
Start your day with a bowl of oatmeal, whole-wheat bannock, whole grain toast, or whole grain cold cereals (not sugar coated).Cereal bars and plain granola bars are handy, but they usually contain more sugar and less fiber than non-sugary cereals.Bake with whole wheat flour. In most recipes, you can substitute half of the white flour with whole wheat flour.

Milk and Alternatives

Milk and milk alternatives provide calcium, vitamins, minerals and protein. These nutrients are important for overall health and for developing strong teeth and bones.

The best choices in this groups are the ones that are lower in fat like 1% and 2% milk.A cup of milk is less expensive than a cup of pop.Powdered milk or UHT milk are less expensive than fresh milk and just as healthy.
Skim milk powder can be added when making bannock and breads.Yogurt and cheese are popular and are easier to digest than milk.Chocolate milk and other flavoured milks have added sugar, so should be offered less often.Create smoothies by blending low fat milk or yogurt with fresh or frozen fruit and ice.

Meat and Alternatives

Meat and meat alternatives (beans, eggs, tofu, nuts) provide important nutrients like iron and protein. Protein helps our bodies to build and maintain muscle and iron is needed for strong blood.

Unlike the fat in country food meats, the fat in store bought meat is unhealthy so we only should only have a small amount at a time.To get good nutrition from meat, it is important to choose fresh or frozen natural meat that looks like real animal muscle. Meats like bacon, hot dogs, bologna and canned meat have a lot of salt and unhealthy fats, and are low in protein and iron.
Breaded meats like fish sticks or chicken fingers have a lot of salt and unhealthy fats.Choose fresh or frozen meat that looks like real animal muscle.Eggs, canned tuna and salmon, and peanut butter are healthy, popular and low-cost.Beans are healthy and can be added to soups and stews.
Tips for choosing fats

  • Fats from fish and sea animals are very healthy. They contain vitamins and omega-3 fatty acids, which are good for healthy hearts.
  • Not all fats from the store are healthy:
  • Choose vegetable oil or soft margarine.Avoid using lard, shortening and hard
  • margarine in sticks.

Now let’s do some exercise. But why exercise…it is so tiring and exhausting. it gives lots of pain…ummmm, please!!!!

But remember the words, No pain No Gain. When you are so concern with your figure the best way to gain it is the exercise but please don,t get obsessed with that. Exercise to stay healthy, fit. Don’t pressurize yourselves to go to an extent…no no. Do how much you can and slowly you will increase your strength.

It’s not required to get Kim Kardashian body or Shakira figure. Just be fit and healthy and do exercise regularly. It’s not that you are going to die if you don’t have their body. Remember, it’s you and you are unique in our own way…so why bother.

We all know that exercise is important in our daily lives, but we may not know why or what exercise can do for us.

It’s important to remember that we have evolved from nomadic ancestors who spent all their time moving around in search of food and shelter, travelling large distances on a daily basis. Our bodies are designed and have evolved to be regularly active.

With a proper diet and regular exercise will show you your inner glow and helps you make you beautiful and full of confidence. Now with your confidence and inner beauty, you are going to achieve any hurdles of your life.

What will happen to me now?

You know some mishap takes place in our life and yes, for that particular incident we face the gloominess of our life.

But you know what happens or what will happen in our life is actually not in our hand, we don’t have control in that …..We can never ever change that.

But you know what we can do is to stop cursing ourselves and gather all the strength to stand up and fight back with the situation. Your every bit of sweat will worth you. Always remember after every darkness there is sunlight.

Be the strength of your loved one, be the strength of your own. don’t lose trust from yourself. You are your only strength.

Be the professor Snape of Harry Potter

Do you know the fact that Japan faces two to three earthquake every year and about 1000 tremors per day and after the huge earthquake they again stand up and fight back the situation and see it is one of the most modernized, powerful and advanced one in the world. It’s not that they don’t lose anything after the earthquake, they lose but they know that they have to stand up and build again to give a happy life for their near and dear ones.

So Japanese can survive and efficiently build up again their world beautifully from the drastic natural disaster why can’t you.

You know anyone can start anything at any point of time, the only thing required is the WILLPOWER.

Have it, trust it and you will surely achieve.

Hey! it’s story time. A real life story… I wish you have all know the well known figure- Oprah Winfrey.
Winfrey was born into poverty in rural Mississippi to a teenage single mother and later raised in an inner-city Milwaukee neighborhood. She has stated that she was molested during her childhood and early teens and became pregnant at 14; her son died in infancy.

Sent to live with the man she calls her father, Vernon Winfrey, a barber in Tennessee, she landed a job in radio while still in high school and began co-anchoring the local evening news at the age of 19. Her emotional ad-lib delivery eventually got her transferred to the daytime talk show arena, and after boosting a third-rated local Chicago talk show to first place she launched her own production company and became internationally syndicated.
Credited with creating a more intimate confessional form of media communication, she is thought to have popularized and revolutionized the tabloid talk show genre pioneered by Phil Donahue, through which, according to a Yale University study, she broke 20th-century taboos and allowed LGBT people to enter the mainstream.
By the mid-1990s, she had reinvented her show with a focus on literature, self-improvement, and spirituality. Though criticized for unleashing a confession culture, promoting controversial self-help ideas, and having an overly emotion-centered approach, she is often praised for overcoming adversity to become a benefactor to others. From 2006 to 2008, her endorsement of Barack Obama, by one estimate, delivered over a million votes in the close 2008 Democratic primary race. In 2013, she was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom by President Obama and honorary doctorate degrees from Duke and Harvard.
She fought hard and trusted herself, trusted the person-the strong one within herself and broke all the obstacles and moved forward.
Now, any guess of her yearly income??????
Ok, ok….I will let you know…its’ more than $125 million.

Now, why I am saying you all this just to stop panicking over the fact that something bad rather worst happened to you and how you will face the world or the world will accept you. Basically, you first needs yourself, once you are done.

Surely you are reaching your goal.

White??Black??Black???White ??? and all!!!!!!

O no! All wants a white skin tone person, why I am so black….people hates me. If I would be white tone, I would have looked much better. Why??? Why???

Let’s go to doctor and had some medication get the perfect tone.

Now can you say what does this”PERFECT TONE” means???

This terminology basically differ from region to region. Most of the Asian country have a high demand of white tone and they call it as “PERFECT TONE”. Where at the same time in the Western Country they like, rather you can say the “PERFECT TONE” is the sun tanned tone one. So it really differs.

Why don’t we forget about the colors and look in the inner-self ….once you will be accepting yourself, you will shine like a diamond in the world.

Why can’t you take the best example of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle…Despite of their difference in skin tone, they love each other and they are really proud of themselves and look they are shinning bright.

I found one real life story of this hating mine own skin tone:
Ever since I was a little girl, I was teased for the color of my skin. Not at school. And not by my friends. My family did the teasing. I believe they would tease me out of love because they knew it bothered me but this has stuck with me. I’m not dark, just relatively browner than my brother and my mother. My brother and mother look alike. They have the same smile and same shade of skin. The song, “La Negra Tiene Tumbao” by Celia Cruz haunts me because my brother used to say I was the “negro” from the songs music video. I hate when I catch myself humming and dancing to the song. Ironically, the lyrics of the song talk about a sexy confident “black” woman, so it shouldn’t bother me being called a “negra.” However, it disturbs me because I don’t want to be considered or called “dark”.I despise acknowledging that I hate my skin color because I’m brain washed by media’s perception of what is “beautiful”. Additionally, I have this African American neighbor whose name is Keisha and my mother used to say way I was her daughter because we are both “dark”. She always said it in a joking manner but it still hurt. Thankfully my brother nor my mother “joke” around like that with me anymore. Consequently, this is making my family sound like horrible people but I’ve always felt like the black sheep of my family. Seriously, like the “black” sheep of the family because of my skin color. To my family I’m the awkward, shy, weird, and sometimes nerdy individual. Personally, I don’t see myself as a nerd because even though I got good grades from elementary through high school it was only because I was responsible. I always showed up to class and turned in my assignments and that’s not what I consider a nerd to be. A nerd to me is a person who is intelligent and grasps school material in a faster phase than others. Additionally, I think the reason I hate my skin color is because I see “white” individuals more attractive than those of a darker skin completion. Moreover, this quarter I’m taking my first feminism and women gender classes and it’s interesting to learn the basics of feminism. For instance, how its goal is to bring equality for anyone being oppressed by their sex, gender, or political rights. From these courses I have learned the prejudges women have faced because of being women but also the difficulties women of color face because of both their gender and skin color. One topic that comes to rise with talking about skin color is skin bleaching. There have been famous celebrities that have been accused of skin bleaching like Beyonce, Sammy Sosa a retired Dominican baseball player, and Michael Jackson even though he had vitiligo. So, as much as I hate my skin color, I can’t go along with bleaching it because it’s like letting society win with their perception of “beauty”.
Hating my skin color is ironic because it’s scientifically beneficial to have “darker” skin color. For instance, melanin is the pigment that gives skin it’s color, so if your skin color is darker you have less of a chance of getting skin cancer. Places such as Australia that have “light” colored individuals, is known for having one of the highest rates of skin cancer in the world.
However, in my twisted low self-esteem mind I wish I was a lighter skin color. I always find it astonishing when people of color have pride in their skin and don’t feel ashamed for being who they are. For instance, about a month ago a woman named Takara Allen was suggested to be more attractive if she bleached her skin!!!! Yes, I know how absurd and obnoxious comment that was. However, Takara didn’t let that ridiculous so called tinder “match” get away with what he said and she replied back. The guys comment went something like this, “You’d look so much prettier if you were whiter!”Allen replied by asking if he’d “ever considered drinking bleach because the world would be so much prettier if you did.” Takara also decided to not follow this jerk and posted her reaction on social media. One of them was a picture of when she was 7 years old. She captioned the photo explaining how she is an African American women whose never had any shame in being “light skin black”nevertheless ever hate her skin color.
In the end, I know having low-self esteem is the reason why I hate my skin color but it’s article’s like this that make me have hope in not giving a shit about society’s perception of beauty. I know it’s hard for people like myself to believe that we are beautiful and have self-confidence but I do believe self-love is possible. I also believe that there is nothing wrong in being the “black” sheep of my family because that makes me different and unique. Just like we are all unique individuals who are beautiful in our own kind of way, regardless of our skin colors.

So, now what do you think that tone part really matters. I don’t think so …..what really matters is our heart. Always remember, it’s not the skin color or tone that makes you beautiful ….it’s you yourself make you beautiful. Your innerself is so beautiful that nothing is comparable to that.

So no more panic related to “ME”.

Only I can change my life. No one can do it for me. —Carol Burnett

Love yourself …Don’t create a Panic of yourself. We all are the unique part of the world. You know you are the best friend of yourself and you only can bring the best of yours.

Be happy, for what you are, who you are, where you are and what you have.
